The location was fantastic! The instructions from the owner where easy to understand. The room was clean and well kept. The balcony was my favorite spot ❤️

A bit more sound proofing of the room door would be a good idea as a conversation outside in the common area felt like it was in the room. However it wasn't something serious so I would definitely stay again!

Location, location, location was great, it was off Via del Corso which was a main street for walking to many of the sites. It was a few blocks from the Spanish Steps. There were many excellent restaurants nearby as well as a Vechi Gelato store down the street. The room was cleaned, bed made and linen changed. Even though there is no staff on site, we were able to leave our luggage in the lobby of the 4 rooms while touring, we were concerned about its safety, but only the people using the 4 rooms on site had the code. Everything was intact when we returned from touring and left for the airport.

We re-read the reviews that led us to stay here. First, "Boutique Suites" is really misleading. After staying in Florence at a "Boutique Suites" hotel, our expectations were high. Be aware, this is a building where 4 rooms are found on the 4th floor. There is no staff on site and while they said to write them for any issues, they did not reply when we embarrassingly, could not figure out how to exit the locked front door. We were standing trapped at the door watching all the people walk by. It was pretty frustrating at the time only because we were so hungry but now brings smiles. (If you stay here, there is a "light switch" to the left of the door, give it a push and it opens the door). While our taxi from the train station drove to the building, we came to find out no taxi's would pick us up because it is actually a no car zone. Walk out onto Via del Corso, take a right, walk up two blocks and stand at the corner where the Foot Locker store is located, Taxis can pick up there. If you have an lot of luggage this could be an issue. The rooms are on the 4th floor as noted here. You can fit one person and 2 pieces of luggage in the elevator per trip. If you do not close the outside metal door and the interior 2 wood doors, the elevator will not move. Twice, people staying in our rooms, left the door unclosed and we had to walk up the 4 flight of stairs. Summing it up, location is great but without staff. If you like having staff available for recommendations or assistance, look elsewhere.
