The purpose of our stay was for our honeymoon as we got married at a resort in Playa Del Carmen and wanted to have a few extra days to wind down from our group destination wedding - what a find! This quaint unique condo offered the most characteristic authentic style coupled with the sound of the ocean with or without the windows open to lull you to sleep. This location was perfect with minutes walking to eateries, market and 500m walk to Yal Cu Lagoon for a picturesque snorkeling experience. We rented bikes for the day to explore and sight see into the main center of Akumal but we also walked there with no issue within 30 minutes. There were a few minor hiccups with the unit but JP and Claudia were onsite and there to fix the issue. All in all the unit was well equipped, clean and such a cool set up with the flex space of a yoga space. We loved that our condo had daily onsite personel Manuel, Ernesto and Karina to upkeep the pool, surroundings and cleanliness. The views, proximity to the ocean and amenities were amazing. I did enjoy the morning sunrise and coffee on the deck is dearly missed ;-( Thank you JP and Claudia were great hosts but also super helpful with retrieving a taxi and anything else we asked or requested.

The interior of the suite is beautifully done with the nice, tiled floors and the neat glass inlets in the walls. The views are incredible and there is always a nice fresh breeze to keep the room cool. The constant sounds of the waves so close makes for a very relaxing stay.

This is an amazing location and beautiful space. The kitchen is well stocked. The balcony is front row for the sunrise. The staff is very friendly and helpful. No, there is no swimming right outside, but Half Moon Bay is just around the corner. It's really more of a snorkeling destination. Yal Ku lagoon is just steps away. The pool is cool and peaceful. It's the perfect spot if you like quiet. Order groceries online or stop at Chedruai. The mini mart nearby is tiny but we'll stocked. We took our bikes ($7/day) to Akumal village for fresh chicken and produce. I only wish we could have stayed longer.
