The Space:
Wonderfully lit, 2 bedroom condo in downtown Leadville. This unit is in one of the oldest and most historic buildings, dating to the early 1900s, this renovated unit has 14 foot ceilings, exposed brick and many of the original building fixtures. Smart TV (NO CABLE). Just 3 blocks from main street in downtown Leadville, you'll be within walking distance to all of the best restaurants, bars and attractions in Leadville. You're also less than an hour's drive from the best Ski Slopes and Hikes that Colorado has to offer. Ski Cooper and Copper Mountain are just near and perfect for snow activities this season!
Beautiful high ceilings and exposed brick. Illuminating natural light fills both bedrooms & the main common area. 2 bedrooms with 1.5 detached bathrooms.
The space stays very cool in the summer (especially compared to other places in Leadville as most houses have no A/C).
Heads Up: This is a historic building with poor insulation and very old windows. This unit will, unfortunately, get a bit cold in winter. We have space heaters in the closets, extra blankets, and electric baseboard & wall mounted heaters throughout the unit, but please note that on cold winter days the unit will get chilly. Please be prepared! Right now, the fireplace does not function and is just for display.
We do utilize a weblink outside the platform that directs guests to our guidebook. You will receive an email with this link. This is the ONLY way guests can access check-in information, and facilitates the collection of fees and other special requests/upgraded services we offer.
To protect your stay, you'll choose one of two options during online check-in: a $150 refundable security deposit (a temporary card hold, released after checkout) or a small damage waiver ($5/night, max $40).

The Neighborhood:
You're one block from Harrison Street, the Main Street in Leadville. Walkable access to all of downtown. Plenty of parking in the area. 360 degree mountain views all around the neighborhood.
Getting Around:
This listing comes with 2 parking spaces. You're within walking distance to majority of Leadville's attractions.

For stays longer than 15 days, a mid-stay cleaning is required and an additional fee of $150 will apply. This helps us maintain a high standard of cleanliness and ensures the home stays comfortable for the duration of your stay.
Per Old Saint Vincent HOA Rules:
-This property is NOT pet friendly.
-Old St. Vincent's is a Smoke-Free building - including all unit balconies and all stairways/entryways.
-Parking is available for only two vehicles per unit. Additional vehicles must park on the street.
-No RVs, boats, or trailer campers may be parked in the parking lot.
-Heads Up: This is a historic building with poor insulation and very old windows. This unit will, unfortunately, get cold in the winter. We have space heaters in the closets, extra blankets, and electric baseboard & wall mounted heaters throughout the unit, but please note that on cold winter days the unit will get cold. Please note: if you are bringing an infant/children: there is not an elevator in this building meaning you will have to walk up or down stairs within the building. Also the OSV condos have baseboard heating: it is up to the guardian to make sure their child does not touch the baseboards as they can get burned.
Note the shower has a lower ceiling if over 6 feet tall.
Staying in the mountains offers a unique and nature-immersed experience, characterized by a rustic charm. You might occasionally encounter some of the local wildlife, insects, and small critters that are part of the natural surroundings. We recommend keeping doors securely closed whenever possible. Rest assured, we've implemented thorough measures to ensure your stay remains undisturbed by these natural inhabitants.
Altitude sickness is real. In Leadville/ Twin Lakes, the elevation can be up to 10,000 feet. Symptoms can include dizziness and nausea, so please be mindful of this. We cannot offer refunds for guests experiencing altitude sickness. If you anticipate being affected, we recommend obtaining insurance at the time of booking.

Really near historic rooms and everything I needed. Walkable to downtown.

We enjoyed staying in this unique condo. We loved the spacious bedrooms, high ceilings, and large windows. The 1 1/2 baths were a bonus for us. The location was convenient being only few blocks from the main street. The condo had all the amenities we needed, and the owner was very responsive.

The place is full of cobwebs, shower drain was slow enough that the tub was filling up slowly, and the chair in the front room is broken with the seat portion sitting in the floor. The heat was all or nothing, but it’s a very old building and only so much you can do about that. I won’t hold it against you too much.
