Villa Olde Ceylon

La struttura è bellissima, i proprietari marito e moglie sono gentili educati ed accoglienti. Il locale da fuori sembra tremendo, giu per una via nascosta.. ma appena si apre la porta d'ingresso si entra in un vero e proprio paradiso. Camere curate e fantastiche, buona la colazione. Il proprietario parla italiano e questo è un grandissimo aiuto.

L'unico difetto se vogliamo chiamarlo cosi, è la posizione non centralissima rispetto a kandy, ma con i tuk tuk il problema si supera molto facilmente

Moon and her husband were brilliant hosts. The accommodation is fantastic and top notch decorated! Breakfast was delicious. Very beautiful place with the best hosts!

This hotel is so beautiful. It’s truly a little paradise hidden in Kandy. The couple build this whole place on their own in 2018 and you can really feel all the love that went into it. Location is also perfect, just out of the busy streets of Kandy.

The place, the place, the place… absolutely incredible! ✨ This hotel is a true hidden gem, with only three rooms, and the manager has created everything himself. It feels like a little oasis, and we were genuinely amazed by the amount of work, care and passion that has gone into creating such a wonderful place. But what made our stay even more special was the incredible kindness and generosity of the managers. They went above and beyond to help us, even helping us find tickets for the Kandy Esala Perahera on the very same day, despite the event being almost fully booked. They managed to find us seats at a very reasonable price, right in the front row, which made the experience absolutely unforgettable. A truly wonderful place, run by wonderful people. We couldn’t recommend it enough! ❤️

The breakfast was good and already very generous, with the team happily adapting to our preferences and requests. Perhaps it could be made even more varied and complete, but overall, we really enjoyed it. The property is slightly secluded, which is part of its charm, but it is worth keeping in mind if you arrive late in the evening. We arrived quite late on our first night and, although we had been warned that there were no restaurants nearby, we ended up having nothing to eat that evening. It would perhaps be helpful to have a small option available for late arrivals. The pool was lovely, although we found the water a little on the cool side. A slightly warmer temperature would have made it even more enjoyable! Overall, these are very minor points compared with the wonderful experience we had.
