Loved the location; we walked everywhere!Very comfortable bed. Plenty of very good restaurants to walk to and the host met us when we arrived. Wonderful outside covered porch.

This was an older home where the owner seems to occupy the main level & the upstairs was converted to a room for rent.If you arrive at night, the gate will be closed so you’ll have to open it to get in. Just a little confusing as it wasn’t marked well or lit at the driveway. If you need a cool place to sleep, this isn’t it in the summer (our visit was in May). There is a small split unit which can only do so much as far as cooling. The owner controls the central a/c & it stayed on 78! We could never open the curtains because it brought in more heat. When I asked for it to be lower, it was turned down to 76. The room was already 80 by then. I need cool to sleep so it wasn’t ‘luxury’ to us.What you get is the bedroom, a tiny bathroom (also not ‘luxury’) & a kitchenette which was added on. There is a lovely big porch to sit on but you can’t use the grill. It is walking distance to downtown but not in the middle of it, it’s about 1/2 mile walk. The room was very clean & the host did answer when I communicated.
