Great location, walkable to lots of restaurants and attractions downtown.

Overall - 5. The things that were excellent far outweigh any of the hiccups.Above all communication with our host, Dan, was exceptional - Super helpful, offering detailed info for check-in & recommendations. The few times I needed to contact him - he was quick to respond & offer a solution. The bathroom & bedrooms - Both got an A for being clean, comfortable, & ready to use. The kitchen area - specifically the refrigerator & toaster needed a bit more cleaning attention, but utensils, sink, countertops, & microwave were all spotless. Safety - upon arrival I was apprehensive about a group of rowdy individuals who gathered near the entrance to the building. They were there each evening usually from approx 6pm - well into the night during our stay. Loud, lots of profanity & occasionally fighting, police there from time to time. I could tune them out but thought it was worth mentioning for those it might bother. Apartment itself felt secure/safe. Surrounding area felt safe & comfortable from 9am to 6pm when we were out walking & enjoying the parks & businesses within a couple miles of the building. Once we figured out the skywalk it was convenient to access the car in the parking garage on walnut st to avoid the streets after dark.Furniture & flooring show more wear then pictured, but still look nice.New construction in area. The VIEW - Exceptional! Exacting what we wanted - affordable place with a great city skyline view. And this place delivered - really pretty at night.

Everything was as advertised, and communication with the host was prompt, helpful, and welcoming. Couldn’t have asked for anything that wasn’t already accurately part of the description. Would definitely stay again.

Very spacious with an astonishing view of the Capitol building! (The sunrise/sunset is beyond beautiful) This was exactly what we needed for a weekend in the city, walkable to just about everything there is to see in downtown Des Moines!
