A very quaint part of Marmaris, in the old town. Lots of shops, friendly staff. Lots of lovely restaurants, again whose staff were very welcoming. The apartment was clean and tidy, with air con. The pool was very much needed in 37 degree heat. The owner was very accommodating allowing us to leave our luggage with him on our last day whilst we wandered around the town until we had to leave to catch our flight at 20.30

Better directions to the apartment. Vehicles are not able to get near to the apartment so when you get out of the taxi, you have to walk approximately 100 yard, which obviously is no real issue EXCEPT you don't know which way to go and when you do find out where, you have to go up quite a long path with steps, in the heat, dragging your luggage behind you!!! Not for the medically challenged. The only other thing that was disappointing was that until you book the apartment, you are not aware that the pool is actually shared with 3 other apartments, although this was not an issue for us as there was only one other guest when we were there.
