It was amazingly kept, friendly family and VERY friendly animals. So beautiful to wake up to in the morning!

The property was like a fairy tale. Like stepping back in time. The amenities were superb. It was peaceful and in the country but close to restaurants and Cork.

Our host was amazing! And we would HIGHLY recommend staying here. She gave us a tour of the castle and ensured we had tea and biscuits upon arrival. For breakfast, she made sure we had delicious croissants. The property was lovely, and we enjoyed strolling around, petting the horses, dogs, and cats. The sheep, chickens, and pig were all well cared for and added charm to the large estate. It is a fantastic way to enjoy a 1300 century castle with modern accommodation. Our only regret is that we did not stay longer!
The host was also very knowledgeable about the surrounding communities and provided excellent recommendations of places to see and things to do.
