Phoenix Rising is a very special place. The energy there is very peaceful and relaxing and we loved Julian as our host. He definitely went above and beyond to help my group and make sure we had everything we needed. He suggested events that really only the locals would know about and we really enjoyed going to one of them. It is really special to be so close to the Tor as well.

Julian was an exceptional, generous and such a friendly host. My wife and I couldn't recommend our stay more highly. We definitely plan to visit again in the future.

Excellent accomodation ... right below the Tor! Julian, our host was particularly welcoming and helpful. There was even a harp recital the evening we arrived. Breakfast was DIY, with all the best foods provided - beyond the average 'continental'. Our room & ensuite were very clean.
Our room was a generous sized twin ... but the ensuite a little small for anyone above average stature!

i liked that I got a ground floor and didn't need to climb stairs
pillows were terrible, room layout was odd. The shower was the first thing you saw when you entered and the room was not lockable!!
