The facilities in the cottage were great, clean and well appointed. The location makes it easy to go to York, Leeds and Harrogate and the entry to the dales is just up the Ripley road.
There are pubs and restaurants in walking distance giving plenty of choice. There is the Wednesday market in the town square which brings in local producers, makes it interesting to see what is on offer
We found it hard to find any negatives on the cottage, the host will help with local information if required.
