Coldwater Hotel

Breakfast was served in the restaurant on the premises with a discount coupon for hotel guests. The service was fantastic! Food was good. The hotel was old, with some parts updated, others not. It was clean.

The WIFI was weak and at times it was faster to simply hot-spot my phone to get work done. The kitchenette had no utensils other than a couple of coffee mugs.

We arrived late evening.. we’re happily received & helped upstairs with our bags. Terrific old pub… aged but very clean, tidy , comfortable bed & lots of character. Would happily stay again!

Basic accommodation that’s decent enough for a short stay. The hotel has an old-fashioned charm and looks quite nice from the outside. The room and bed were a reasonable size, with clean sheets and linens, and overall, the bed was comfortable enough.

That said, I feel the hotel could use some improvement when it comes to cleanliness and maintenance. The furniture is quite old and has a lot of scratches and signs of wear. The table was dirty, the microwave had quite a bit of food splatter, and some corners of the room were dusty with visible black dirt. Some of the electrical outlets were also loose, making chargers feel loose when plugged in. The internet was another downside. It was very slow and frequently lagged, which made it difficult to use.

The restaurant breakfast was enjoyable, good service

noisy A/C vent that ran thru the whole building , as it being an old western style of hotel, the humming of the A/C in my opinion was a litttle loud for quiet sleeping conditions. Also my small single room had the upstairs toilet pipe draining exposed to my room so could loudly hear it being flushed/draining every time.
