The view is breathtaking (especially if you wake up early to see the sunrise), the people are very friendly and accommodating, the breakfast was very tasty and there are cute dogs! 😁
During our stay there was some construction going on. It’s only logical as this was during the off-season and generally no real nuisance to us.

Everything!! Best place we have been to in Sri Lanka. Living in the middle of ricefields whilst enjoying the beauty of Sri Lankas mainland. We could even see the sunrise from our bed. It was incredible.
The host offers you to drive you around and show you places. You should definitely accept that. Super, super friendly guy who really want you to experience the true beauty of Sri Lanka.
Also the breakfast and optional dinner from organic homemade and homegrown products is incredible. Super tasty
In general 10/10.
You are missing out of something if you are not coming here!!!

Alles! Vrij behulpzaam, service was top. Je zit midden in de natuur, ideaal om tot rust te komen! Je had ook een algemene deel voor koffie/thee en een koelkast die je kan delen.

Wonderful scenery
Quite far away from the main town with no nearby shops. The place is located on top of a steep and narrow street that is dark and not walkable at night. Cabs usually refuse to drive you up and you need a tuk tuk
Breakfast was basic (only toasts, eggs and juice)
Room too basic for the price
