Paul Chabot Hotel

The bed was very comfortable and the WiFi worked well. The room was quiet. The bathroom was spacious, the shower was a large wet room and I would have liked a grab handle on the wall. The hotel is in an excellent location for exploring Hai Phong and there is an excellent seafood restaurant called Talata very close by, take a table on the top floor. The staff - especially those at breakfast, were extremely eager to please.

I didn't like the fact the room was dark and it was necessary to keep the curtains drawn all the time. I admit I knew there was no balcony or outside view when I booked but if I was to stay at the Paul Chabot again I would spend more money and reserve a room with these facilities. The breakfast buffet is aimed 100% towards the Asian market so anyone thinking they can have a "full English" will be very disappointed. There aren't even any decent sized teacups and the water in which to dunk ones teabag is just about warm.

Hele fijne setting. Goed gedecoreerde kamers. Badkamer voorzien van alle benodigdheden. Goeie ligging t.o.v. centrum. Veel eetgelegenheden in de buurt.

Washing machines were affordable and helped us as we was backpacking and needed to clean clothes. Wi-fi was good, breakfast was good.

Bed was very hard and uncomfortable to sleep on, woke up with a bad back which is disappointing due to the comfort rating being high. You could hear a lot of noise from the corridors. The corridors were extremely hot with no AC, windows were left open to allow all the heat into the corridors. AC in the room however was very good.
