Maison 1896

Absolutely Lovely! Worth every Penny! Great staff, lovely room and perfect location.

Nothing, it was perfect!

This hotel is very elegant and extremely comfortable with a central location, that was very clean. Staff are excellent. Breakfast is continental style, with a select but delicious range of foods. Gluten free was well catered for. The space for dining is very roomy and comfortable. Very quiet rooms. I have to comment again on the staff - excellent from front of house prior to arrival, housekeeping, and porter service.

The evening restaurant is quite disappointing. It is basically bar food at an (expensive) restaurant price with a little jazzing up. As this seems to be a recent change, it is something that really needs to be looked at. Service was fine, quality of food was fine, but the menu was poor, and unfortunately I didn't realise this until it was too late to find somewhere else. I could not recommend this for an evening meal (even as bar food). Go elsewhere, anywhere else in Beaune, for your evening meal.

Amazing design Well thought out out Staff are exceptional and located by the town square Also very close to drive to all the vineyards Thank you for a great stay
