Bella Vista is an absolute gem. My husband and I love staying here. From the beautiful lake views to the cute cozy cottage it is definitely our favourite summer getaway. The hosts are truly lovely people and respond promptly if we ever have any questions.

Belle Vista cottage is a gem on Lake Erie. My wife and I were in town for hiking and picture-taking during the local bird migration, but enjoyed the spectacular lake views and the cheery comfort of the cottage more than anything else on the trip. Our hosts seemed to have anticipated our every need, and also made themselves easy to reach for any problems that might arise (though none did). The spaces were spotless, set up for convenience, and offered everything from plentiful bedding and blackout curtains to welcoming gifts from local shops. There's an electric fireplace, remote-controlled heating/cooling access, a large-screen TV, full-size kitchen appliances, a washer and dryer, and a coffee maker with a generous supply of coffee/tea/flavoring options. Clear views of Lake Erie were available from nearly everywhere in the cottage, and the rear deck offered panoramic access to the sights and sounds of the lake from just a few feet away. Squirrels played on the deck, and we saw a greater variety of birds there than on any of the hikes in nearby Point Pelee Nat'l Park. Sunrise and sunset were high points every day. This felt more like being put up by family than renting a place to stay, It was a really satisfying getaway at a very reasonable price. We'll be back soon!

Absolutely delightful!! Charming, comfortable, amenities are top notch, views stunning. We’ll return! The owners are attentive, thoughtful and respond quickly. It couldn’t have been cleaner. The kitchen is well equipped, bath towels are soft & thick, games available.

It was our second stay here and once again it was wonderful. Beautiful area, super cute and cozy cottage with an amazing panoramic view of the lake right in the back yard. We can’t wait to go again next year.
