Old Manse is a comfortable house in a large, quiet plot about 10 minutes walk into Burford. It should be noted that the walk to Burford is along a very busy road. The house , whilst boasting plenty of living space and lovely large bedrooms with comfy beds, is a little lacking in finer detail. The kitchen is not as well equipped as might be expected, 2 milk pans no larger saucepans, no teapot, few tumblers, and lamps not working. Bathrooms did not all have soap provided. Only 1 replacement bin bag was left in kitchen which didn't fit. The outside bin was also full and made putting our rubbish out tricky. The re cycling bin had no lid. These are finer details, but a little more care would take a lovely house to a different level.

Excellent place to stay just outside of Burford (10 minute walk to town on sidewalks). Rooms were clean and spacious and furniture was up to date. Only negative was the low doorway between house and addition which tall people can hit their head on if not careful. Highly recommended

We had a lovely stay in the old manse. The house is very spacious and has a lovely garden and patio area with a bbq in good condition. The decor is nice and beds comfortable. A couple of small improvements - some kitchen items are very old and not of a standard you’d expect in such a nice house eg the kettle, tin opener, no large pans for cooking. There aren’t enough mugs. - not enough bin bags left (this is ridiculous as it’s hard to keep things clean and tidy without) - the stair carpet was very dirty on arrival - towels were not provided for everyone - one tea towel is not enough if you don’t leave many dishwasher tablets

Lovely property and suited all our needs. Light, airy and plenty of space for a family get together.
