Soggiorno fantastico, all’insegna del relax totale!

Wow, what can I say about this property! This Trulli was absolutely fantastic! It is situated just on the outskirts of Ceglie Messapica in a smallholding surrounded by olive trees and lemon trees. It is still close enough to walk into town to the local Dok supermarket or local restaurants (but we had a car to explore Puglia, Ostuni, and surrounding beaches (about a 25km drive) The property is approached by a private electric gated driveway. You have the whole complex to yourselves and is private and not overlooked. Our host Antonio couldn’t have been more helpful. He came early every morning to sort out the courtyard and clean the pool, this was completed before we awoke! We then then had full use of the Trulli to ourselves. We only had to ask for local tips and which beaches to visit. He even brought us some local wine to try! We arrived to a comprehensive food hamper with a home made fruit tart and some of Antonio’s home made olive oil (which you can also purchase to bring home with you) The pool is larger than it looks in the photos, but was very welcome as we were experiencing extremely high temperatures all week and it was lovely to come back to the crystal clear pool. The kitchen facilities were fully stocked for any size of family. The air conditioning was also needed and very welcome. It is a good base to either chill out and relax around the pool or explore further afield. Can’t say enough positive things about Trulletti Gioia! We will definitely be back!

Nothing negative to say, apart from we had to come home after our weeks stay.

La pace, gli spazi ampi, la piscina

Nulla!
