Très confortable, idéalement placé, excellente communication

There are no regrets here in terms of picking this location for a longer vacation. We had enough space & resources to keep us going, and the location was extremely convenient to get around in the city. If you're someone who cares about front-door delivery, most services will be able to get here easily and fast. You'll have enough space inside for family activities and a fun TV/media system to entertain you. The view encompasses a big part of the essence of Bucharest, from old & historical buildings to new ones. There are highly rated restaurants in close proximity with amazing food, and a couple really convenient minimarkets for your small grocery needs. You will have enough (modern) appliances inside the apartment to take care of basic needs. By the end of our stay, it pretty much felt like home. Even though we didn't personally need the help of our host very much, I'm convinced they would have helped us immediately and well. I handled preparing for our accommodation and I genuinely felt welcomed and well-informed prior to my arrival. Checking in and out was a breeze. The building that the apartment is in, while not under the jurisdiction of the host obviously, is still very clean, easy to use, fairly accessible with a ramp and a sturdy elevator, and easy to find for both ourselves as tourists and delivery personnel. The apartment on its own is a great decision, no matter how long you're planning to stay, and the proximity to city events, especially during weekends, makes it even better.

I'd like to preface this by saying that none of these notes ruined my experience in any way, and that I just find them useful to know about. Coupled with how we dealt with them, in case you really like this place and want to book a stay anyway. It really is a great overall choice. 1. Windows don't have screens, but they do have retractable shades. Due to the outside environment & positioning of the building, critters crawling in hasn't been a real issue, but we did turn into mosquito hunters for a few days. This has been easily solved by keeping windows shut during the night and airing out the apartment during the day. If you get heated at night, the air conditioning units do a great job on their own in the humid summers of Bucharest. 2. The bathroom does retain a lot of humidity, but it has a wide doorframe and a window you can keep open at various degrees. Maintaining airflow when the bathroom isn't used is a great way to solve this. Other reviews have pointed this out as well, and I was aware of it when booking. It has not been a huge deal for me, personally. 3. My partner and I occasionally had to look up our appliances to understand the meaning of every icon & setting we could use. This may be a niche piece of feedback, but we wanted to be respectful and use them properly. It also took us a minute to figure out the media system, but eventually got there just fine. Our suggestion here would be maybe making an informative leaflet for guests to check out before using things around the apartment. There is already a very useful one that explains what every remote control does, which is a great start. 4. There may already be a good reason for this, but some things seemed to be missing from the kitchen that would have been useful.

Very nice and well-designed apartment! The terrace is great and the view amazing! The neighbourhood is very hype. There are a lot of very lovely cafes around - even in the building ! There is an art-house cinema in the next building ! À great way to enjoy Bucarest !
