The location was excellent, very quiet, away from busy crowds but close enough to restaurants and bars for evening entertainment. The roof terrace was lovely to sit and relax in the evening, listening to the bells of the local churches. The apartment was clean, bright, modern and tidy and the beds were very comfortable. Towels and linens were all provided. The air conditioning was very welcome at the end of long hot days exploring. Communication with the apartment was easy on arrival, and a direct whatsApp group meant there was someone to meet us at the apartment at exactly the right time. The welcome and introduction to the apartment was very easy and friendly.

The water took a while to heat up in the showers and you need to be careful not to use too many electric items at once as the fuses will trip. The rubbish collection is a bit complicated, but this would be the same in any apartment in Venice.

We loved our stay at Casa CaLi con Altana. The property was clean, comfortable, bright, sunny and spacious. The location was wonderful. We could walk to most of the important sites, as well as to the train station, and yet the neighborhood was quiet, local and authentic.

The spiral staircase was fine for a short stay, but we are happy we don’t have to deal with it every day! Overall, communication with the staff was fine, although our check in time with Sila felt rushed. Our arrival was arranged well in advance. Not a major concern, though we would have appreciated more personal recommendations.

Extraordinary combination of old Venetian building on the outside, but modern and luxurious on the inside; it is more spacious than the photos convey, and I love the wood everywhere. Mattresses are high-quality hybrid, the wifi is strong, AC was extraordinarily effective in all rooms in the middle of a heat wave, and the rooftop terrace gives a wonderful view over Venice. Location is perfect because it is one block off the main tourist road, and there is absolutely no tourist noise or spillover.

Just a warning about the last flight of stairs which is especially steep with suitcases. And those who are very light sleepers should bring earplugs or sound machine to mask a faint generator sound (maybe the AC) which cycles on and off throughout the night. Finally, be aware that you will be asked to join a WhatsApp chat group in order to communicate with all three employees simultaneously (but it is worth it: as a result, hosts were always quick to respond whenever I reached out).

Sehr schön ausgestattetes Appartment. 2 Zimmer mit Doppelbetten eines mit 2 Einzelbetten. Große Wohnküche, tolle Dachterrasse mit Sitzmöglichkeit. 2 Badezimmer

Raumhöhe in einem Zimmer sehr eingeschränkt- man kann nur in der Nähe des Fensters stehen. AbfAusgang auf Terrasse durch ein Fenster- was aber nicht weiter stört.
