Not Boutique Hotel

The space feels like a hidden oasis in the city. It felt like everything moved slower and it was nice and quiet. Everything was above and beyond in terms of quality and the staff were amazing.

Amazing hotel close to the Acropolis and easy access to multiple attractions and great restaurants. The staff was very helpful and helped us with all our requests. Highly recommended of you are looking for a solid boutique hotel experience in Athens.

Perfect location in a cool part of town and easy to get to the centre; a beautifully designed hotel with a gorgeous courtyard garden; calm and quiet (didn’t hear noise from any other guests); friendly staff, great breakfast.

We had a few issues during our stay, which probably don’t usually happen but they affected our enjoyment and we don’t think enough was done to recognise that. First, everything is automated (entry, blinds, lights) and there were electrical faults which meant that all the lights came on twice in the middle of the night, and on two of the others nights there was a loud beep sound several times in the night, so we had disturbed sleep on 3/4 nights. When we mentioned the issues to the staff they were pleasant and tried to fix them but didn’t do any more to check if we were happy or offer anything to apologise - not a 5* experience. Second, the pool was closed because of a technical issue. These things happen, but communication around it could have been better. Finally, the staff were very friendly and quick to respond to questions but the experience overall was quite impersonal - nobody showed us to our room when we arrived, everything is automated with communication over WhatsApp - some will prefer that approach and it has its perks but it wasn’t our preference.
