The apartment is perfect, great size and super clean, even better than in the photos.

The location is exceptional. There are many restaurant and coffee shop options close by, as well as three subway stations within a 15 minute walk. And it’s only a 30 minute walk to both Harajuku and Roppongi. Having access to a washing machine and microwave was nice, and the soaking tub was a real bonus. The apartment itself was comfortable and provided very good value for money - especially given that we visited during Silver Week.

There was no place to put small items (e.g.: skin care products), and temperature moderation at night was a challenge (tip: close the door to the bedroom so the AC isn’t trying to cool the entire space. The toilet closet had a slight, persistent odour of sewer gas (we just kept the door closed) and unfortunately the bidet wasn’t working. When we drained the soaking tub the floor flooded. You had to wait a bit before getting out. If you’re sensitive to traffic noise the apartment is adjacent to a busy road, though that was lessened at night and generally didn’t interfere with sleep.

Amazing localization, 15 minute walk to major stations so that you are easily connected with every part of Tokyo. In addition, carrying host that can help with everything and outstanding value if booked cheaply.

I think host could focus on adding some minor add-ons that definitely would make staying more comfortable. I mean things like extra mirrors (now only in bathroom) and shelves, maybe also shower curtain with small bathroom carpet and extra towels (it was difficult to dry them in the rainy season). Generally speaking, I’d suggest adding small improvements to boost overall satisfaction, which still stays high due to value ratio.

Clean, nice views.

Lack of storage and shelving (the bathroom could have done with a shelf to store towels and toiletries).
