Location and the simplicity of the room.

Some draw space would be a great addition so you could store your clothes instead of just living out of a suitcase

Very clear and helpful comms and instructions, clean and tidy and just right for what I needed. Quiet rear-facing room despite being on a busy road. Very well placed for Alexandra Palace.

Would have liked a plug socket next to the bed.

Clean, facilities and location for Ally Pally gigs as bus stop outside. Large bathroom and cooking facilities.

Pillows were lumpy and only one each. TV in a weird place as unable to watch properly from bed. Would benefit from microwave although little oven was useful.

The location was great for Ally Pally. The room was very clean, and was well cleaned daily. Towels were supplied. There were chairs (albeit they were uncomfortable, they were there). The sides of the bed weren't jammed against walls, so we could get out of bed easily. Eight (yes 8!) cooking hobs were in the room - this gave us a laugh, although we'd have appreciated more than one bowl or teaspoon. I've never seen so much cooking apparatus with so little cookware and crockery.

So much was missing - a washbasin plug, enough width on the curtains to draw them across the whole window, somewhere comfy to sit (there were acres of empty kitchen storage - a small 2 seater would have slotted into that space very well), blinds or curtains in the bathroom, bathmat, something (anything) like a picture or rug to make it look attractive. The bedding was very poor quality. The duvet was very thin and far too narrow, and there were only two pillows - one was pancake-flat and the other was incredibly lumpy. Also, not a problem to us, but we think the shower cabinet will fall apart soon.
