The flat is newly renovated, comfortable, super central and clean, with good layout

Not a negative, but worth noting Paying through third party website - it went alright though Also there is no dishwasher and guests are asked to clean the dishes themselves before next visitors

Jean-Christophe met us at the apartment on time and was able to arrange a slightly early check-in which was lovely after a long flight and train ride. The apartment is in a perfect location for exploring Bordeaux. Everything was within walking distance and the trams were literally a 7 minute walk away. The apartment itself is very comfortable and quite spacious for 2 people. The apartment was very clean on our arrival, the kitchen was better equipped than most and the bed linen was of nice quality. As we were there during a heat wave, we asked for a second fan which was there when we arrived and between the 2 we stayed comfortable during our stay. The WiFi worked beautifully and we had plenty of hot water for showers.

There are a few things that would have improved our stay. The lighting in the hallway outside the apartment was temperamental and it was very dark so sometimes we had to use the light on our cell phones. It seemed to us that the services of an electrician are in order! The stairs up to the apartment are narrow and steep which is not mentioned in the apartment description. Luckily there is only one flight and the hand rail is sturdy so we didn’t have any trouble except when we arrived and left with our luggage. There is an elevation change of about 2” between the kitchen/living area and the bed/bathroom which we stubbed our toes on a couple of times until we got used to it. The quality of the bath towels was not great. While Jean-Christophe met us on time, he seemed to be in a hurry to leave and when we asked about garbage and recycling he referred us to the company website. When we checked, there was no information. We did get it resolved but it was a bit annoying, especially as the company makes it clear that it is the renter’s responsibility to take the garbage and recycling to the bins before departure. All in all, we had a lovely stay in the apartment, but I would not say it was great value. We are in France for a month and Le Verde is by far the most expensive apartment we rented.

Great location, large apartment, great to have a kitchen and washing machine. Welcoming checkin. Loved the little terrace. Close to everything. Paid carpark not far. Would return!

Please consider adding curtains in the living area for privacy and a darker apartment at night.

Location was great. Nice quality glasses and crockery. Kitchen well appointed. Very good service from Jean-Christophe to let us in on arrival.

Although common in older buildings in the centre, the lack of airconditioning. With daytime temperatures around 28C degrees , the room was very warm during day and night. The windows were very good at shutting out noise but the noise intruded when the windows were opened to get some fresh air.
