on this long drive through Washington, oregon, california, arizona, New mexico, texas, louisiana, mississippi alabama I have tayed in Motel 6's and notied they all have been refurbished. No carpet, newer beds, newer bathrooms. I need a very firm mattress and at least half my stays met that challenge. None were ridiculously soft. All were clean.
I arrived in the dark and the signage for entry wasnt great. A long narrow entry off the side street is confounded wwith other driveways to other businesses and the parking lots dont connect. The other entry is off the frontage road. Ths is the better entry but both approachs require a quick zig zag

Everything was good except some of the tiles on the floor needed replacing, and there was no coffee pot in the room and no desk to work on.
