The apartment is conveniently located just outside of Locarno/Ascona at a walking distance from the Ponte Brola climbing cliffs. The apartment is well equipped and feels recently renovated.
A handful of minor inconveniences that might have been temporary: the car park had to be arranged last minute in an emergency (contrary to the listing, parking on site costs 10 chf per day and there are only two spots for 3 apartments), a few key appliances were disabled (the TV was not working nor was the AC), the rug was full of what looked like animal hair and there was no shower gel in the bathroom nor capsules for the coffee machine. For tall people, headroom can be a real issue in the staircase.

Wir waren im Appartement Isorno im Souterrain (bereits zum zweiten Mal). Die Wohnung ist sehr modern und funktional eingerichtet. Ausserdem ist die Küche zwar klein, aber super ausgestattet. Auch das Badezimmer ist super und sehr praktisch. Zum Appartement gehört ein Sitzplatz mit Tisch, Stühlen und Sonnenschirm.
Für unseren Sohn wurde ein Babybett inkl. Bettwäsche bereitgestellt.
Die Lage ist perfekt. In einer ruhigen Sackgasse, aber in der Nähe vom Strand (Maggia). Auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten findet man in der Nähe (mit dem Auto).
Leider haben wir diesmal nur einen Aussenparkplatz statt einem Garagenplatz für unser Auto erhalten (zum gleichen Preis). Das ist aber meckern auf hohem Niveau.

Sehr moderne, sehr saubere Wohnung mit viel Platz und mit einem wunderbaren Balkon, wo man seine Ruhe hat und den Blick schweifen lassen kann. Wir haben alles mit öV/zu Fuss gemacht, man braucht kein Auto. Der Bahnhof ist in 5min erreicht. Der Coop und die Bäckerei befinden sich im Nachbardorf Verscio, das man dank der neuen Fussgängerbrücke ohne Hauptstrasse erreicht. Schlüsselübergabe mittels Code und schriftlicher Kontakt mit der Vermietung funktionierte super. Wir haben uns sehr erholt.
Das einzige, was fehlt sind ein paar Haken im Eingangsbereich sowie Salz, Essig und Öl in der Küche. Leider gab es weder Gewürze, noch Verpackungsmaterial wie Frischhaltefolie o.ä. Wir haben unser Salz für die Nächsten hinterlassen :)

Die Ferienwohnung im EG war super ausgerüstet. Eine Klimaanlage hat den Aufenthalt bei der Tagestemperatur von 37 Grad sehr angenehm gestaltet. Auch Abends und zum Schlafen, einfach super.
Alles war hervorragend.
