The location was good and the breakfast in the cafe was excellent. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the hotel is well situated in the middle of town. The drinks options in the room were excellent with a variety available and complimentary. The only staff we saw were in the cafe and they were friendly.
The room although comfortable requires some redecoration and the shower in our room was very poor. We did notice that some maintenance work was being done around the building. The check in was not staffed and instructions were sent by email on the day of arrival. Entry was by coded keypads and although this worked ok the system, particularly for room entry,b was quite noisy and you could not get in or out without the likelihood of disturbing other guests.

The bed was very comfortable
It was very noisy with the traffic right outside. Did ease up during the night but still there were cars racing past. The windows were single not double glazed and in the morning, there was a lot of condensation witb pools of water on the windowsills. This even fell onto the floor and my husbans's jeans were slightly wet in the morning. Due to the noise from the traffic, we didnt get much sleep. The shower was a bit dated and we struggled to have a hot showe

"Really comfy bed and the room was really warm. Shower easy to use and hot. Lovely big fluffy white tiles. Good tea coffee biscuits and bottled water. Location great."
