Danilo was a Prince! He owns the hotel and also an olive oil business. His knowledge of the area is extensive and he tried to help us learn some Italian. His English is workable, but we all communicated well. The room is super clean and lovely. In addition, he picked us up and also returned us to the nearby Bari airport. His restaurant recommendations were wonderful (La Compagnola!) . In addition, he picked us up and took to this wonderful restaurant 2-nights in a row (interrupting his own family dinner!) He is a lovely and sweet host, who tries to please as much as possible. He clearly loves his home and beautiful family. highly recommend!
