It felt like we were living in a palace! A truly special apartment, and the garden was stunning. We came here just after our wedding and took our wedding cards to read in the garden, with a lovely bottle of wine gifted to us by the owner. The location is ideal - a short walk into the city but perfectly quiet and right across the road from the city walls which we loved to cycle. We’ll never stay anywhere else!

Nothing - it was great!

Wonderful, spacious historic property with great style and character. Very helpful owners.

Kitchen facilities are a little basic but that doesn’t matter because there are so many good restaurants nearby.

The host was very responsive and the apartment was unique. The location was great - near access points to stroll on the wall or rent a bike to ride. It was outside of the central area so it was quiet but very close and an easy walk to shops, attractions and restaurants. We loved that there were no stairs!! The garden in the back was lovely and the host provided some special touches that made the stay more comfortable.

We did not dislike anything about the apartment. If you want to be in the middle of the action, this place might be a bit too removed. If you like to be outside of the crowds - this is the place!
