This weekend was all about three mums escaping the responsibilities of everyday life for a little getaway, while also celebrating a special birthday — and we couldn’t have picked a better place to unwind!
We loved the location of this property, so close to the town centre and surrounded by so much beautiful greenery. But what we especially loved was how cosy and charming the place was. It was beautifully decorated, and the fireplace really set the mood for a relaxing evening.
We all walked in and immediately said, “This is perfect!” — and it truly was. The perfect little escape for a relaxing and memorable weekend away.
Nothing really.

so cozy! beds were really comfortable and had everything we needed for a warm wholesome stay
the bbq grill was dirty - we planned on grilling some meats but weren’t able to. cooking facilities weren’t great with only 2 burners and not the best utensils however made it work!

Lovely location, rustic and homey vibe, comfortable beds and great extras like some treats in the kitchen, a projector to play movies and Bluetooth speaker to create a beautiful atmosphere whilst enjoying the lush scenery
Nothing! It was gorgeous

Quiet
It had ice in the freezer
Beautiful gardens
The projector was a nice surprise considering there isn’t a television set
The wood fire with plenty of wood to burn
No blinds/curtains in the kitchen so the neighbor could see in
Most of the cupboards didn’t close properly
Very steep driveway
It didn’t have a television which was a disappointment
Two of the old windows didn’t lock which were easy for anyone to access and something the owners should address
