Cozy for us, will def booked again for me and my wife

The condo was very clean, as portayed in the pictures, and perfectly sized for a couple. It has easy access to the beach. If you like a very soft bed with minimal support, then you will enjoy this one. We prefer a firm mattress and struggled to get a good night’s sleep. The water pressure was good in the shower for those that have thicker hair. The property while older was tidy and the parking attendant was kind and helpful. Check-in and out was simple with clear communication from the owner. The beach was lovely. We ended up renting chairs and an umbrella as the winds were quite strong after Tropical Storm Arthur. Overall it is a nicely decorated, clean condo with easy access to the beach!

This property was exactly as described & had everything we needed! We weren’t sure if we needed to pack coffee filters, but somebody must’ve left some behind which was nice! The walk to the beach was super short and easy, no stairs at all! And with 4 pools total we found none of them ever got congested! My only advice is write down your door code ASAP, before you arrive, so when you do arrive you’re not affected by any VRBO app outages like we were the building workers helped us get in touch with the owner since we couldn’t get her contact info with the app being down. She helped us to access our unit and the rest of our stay was wonderful. Overall, I definitely recommend this unit for couples!

Although it has been a few years since my last stay, I have visited Sugar Beach Condos several times in the past. Unfortunately, the property is showing signs of needing updates, along with more consistent outdoor cleaning and maintenance. I noticed trash in the bushes beside both poolside pavilions that had clearly been there for some time. Both beachside swimming pools also need a thorough cleaning, as there was a visible film around the pool walls—enough that people had written their names in it. In addition, several lounge chairs around all three pools were broken, and many of the remaining chairs needed cleaning, with some showing black mildew. Our stay was okay overall, but there are a few things that could be improved to make it more comfortable. Emptying the dehumidifier was a bit inconvenient, but it was necessary to keep it working properly—and having it on made a noticeable difference. However, I also want to point out that the filter had not been cleaned in quite some time, as it was completely clogged. The mattress really needs to be replaced because there’s a significant dip in the center that made for an uncomfortable nights sleep. The sofa bed is also too large for the space, and pulling it out required rearranging most of the room. Lastly, the curtains were difficult to pull together. With some updates and adjustments, this property could be much more enjoyable for future guests.
