Our hosts were excellent and extremely accommodating. They are associated with an excellent winery. Don’t miss the lunch and wine tasting. Our hosts helped us rent a car. The location to the parking was very convenient.

Absolutely gorgeous. Very tasteful rustic design. Hosts were extremely gracious and communicative. Town of San Gimignano is something out if ancient history. Spectacular!

Kind of a ‘lumpy’ start to checking in with a host that sort of made us feel we were putting him out - after we were clearly told that the host would assist us with our bags - especially as 1 of the 4 of us has a hip problem and limited mobility.The unit was indeed as spectacular inside as the pictures illustrated it to be, albeit with a few more steep steps. We were also under the impression it had 2 bathrooms… - it had 1.5 bathrooms with the 2nd being far away from night time needs - but we could live with that.Dust and grit… AND Construction NoiseOur major concern was the dust and dirt which covered the 2nd bedroom. We soon learned the cause, as a neighbouring unit was under complete renovation and construction, with banging, cutting and pounding that went on thru the day on May 15th and into the evening.The Evil Step/CurbUpon getting ready for bed, even though we’d (obviously) talked about it, my wife in a haste to allow or friends to get into the one bathroom on bdrm level, fell off the curb and sprained her ankle, with her arm and head hitting the hallway wall - kind of lucky she didn’t break anything.The one day brought on and off heavy rain… so it would have been REALLY nice to have been able to gain access to an umbrella or two!We informed the host of the fall, and asked if he’d be able to assist us with the luggage back out. Again, he made an issue of it saying we had not paid for that service, but given what occurred he said he would.
