Property was extremely clean and super comfortable. Well furnished with lots of kitchen supplies! Great view from the screened in porch. Communication with the owner was quick!!

The condo was cozy and inviting; just what we needed after a long drive! The beds were comfy and the kitchen well equipped. There was also a great view of an entire fairway, so we could watch golfers' technique. :) I'd definitely recommend a stay here!

Everything about the quality of the condo was great, and the owner(out of town) wonderful. Our only mishap was the smart lock did not function on our pm arrival-but we were able to speak quickly with the owner, and the management company rep was there to let us in within 30 minutes. Otherwise an A+ stay. Cleanliness was great.

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. The condo is clean, the beds are comfy, and there is a lovely porch with a view of the golf course. The only thing for us was that we were a family of five and the condo said it had to pull out couch bed. But, it wasn't a pull out. So, our teenager just slept on the couch as it was and we borrowed a few extra blankets from my in-laws. ;)

Older, well-kept condo with all the amenities located in a very prestigious neighborhood close to Oak Island. We enjoyed everything about this property, especially sitting in the screened-in porch having our morning coffee and watching the golfers. So relaxing! The short drive to the beach club was easy and effortless. We loved having access to the facilities and took full advantage of it. We contacted the owner once and she got right back to us in a timely manner. We can’t wait until our next visit!

Really good experience that made this an enjoyable stay. Good, reliable, and timely communications from the owner. All towels and linens were wrapped in shrink wrap for sanitation. All we had to do when leaving was to take these and put them into a large laundry bag that was provided. Screen porch overlooking the golf course made for relaxing evenings.

Our condo was just perfect ! The accommodations were exactly what we were looking for. Barbara's response to any questions we had were answered promptly. We definately recommend this location.

First of all, communication with host was top notch…responded very quickly and courteously to a few questions we had. Condo is in a beautiful setting on the golf course at Saint James. Very clean and quiet…we plan to stay again sometime.

Clean condo, in great condition, and in a location that was convenient to many things we wanted to do. It's located in a gated, upscale, community that is very well maintained. This was great but some of the gates do close at 7 pm. We typically used the main gate so this was not an issue for us but it's just good info to have. We didn't have an opportunity to take advantage of any of the plantation amenities but they looked nice. We truly enjoyed sitting out on the screened porch in the mornings and evenings. The set up is great, you have plenty of space to spend time together but also have personal space. We thought Barbara's condo was a great value and we'd love to visit again!

The condo is very nice and clean - a little dated perhaps but nice. We had trouble with the living room TV - we had to use the on/off button on the side of it to get it to turn on. The property amenities are further away than we thought. We didn't use the St. James Beach Club but we did drive over to Oak Island and enjoyed the beautiful beach at the end of the road. Thanks for a pleasant stay!

This is an excellent property and Barbara, the owner is very organized and has provided her guest with a home away from home. This is one of the nicest VRBO we have stayed at and the organized process she provides is outstanding. We are building a house in the area and we will definately connect with Barbara again to rent this great property! Thank you for everything... simply amazing in every way!

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The condo is roomy and we loved the screened porch. St. James is a very large gated community, so you'll have a long ride from the entrance to the unit but it wasn't hard to find. For future renters, note that you can't actually gain admittance into the parking lot for the St. James Beach Club. If there is parking on the street outside you can walk to the Beach Club (take the club pass with you). However, after parking on the street it's really more convenient to just take the public path across the dunes than to walk through the clubhouse. The beach is all public.

Had a girls weekend and it was a great time love to stay. Everything was there we needed. Great location. Although our sky diving got canceled due to weather we still enjoyed our selves. Went to Bald Island which was wonderful the beach there is magnificent.

At the last minute our plans changed dramatically where we were planning to travel as for adults and instead just my husband and I ended up going on. the trip. We had too much room for just two of us but it ended up working out fine. We arrived late in the evening so one thing to take note of is that the main gate is the only one open. GPS took us to the wrong entrance and we were stuck for a little bit before a guard from the main entrance saw us struggling at one of the back entrances. He said this is not uncommon for GPS to take people to the closest entrance to the highway that they are on. It might be a good idea to make a note that the gates other than the main gate do close in the evening

The property we rented was wonderful. We had a hiccup with the air when we first arrived, but the owner resolved it very quickly. Totally not her fault, but worked very fast to get it fixed. The unit itself was very nice and the perfect space for my family. We would definitely rent it again!

This was a great place to stay for our family trip to Oak Island. The separate bedroom with its own bathroom and mini kitchen was perfect for our teens. The condo isn’t on the beach but the neighborhood is lovely and we didn’t mind the short drive to the beach.

Easy access to condo w/code. Barbara made everything so easy w/check-in, linens, beach access. She left thorough instructions not only on-line but also at the condo. Fabulous location right on tee box of hole #2 Members. Great bed!

We had the best week ever at Barbara’s place. I honestly don’t think the pictures do this place justice. Very bright. Right on the golf course, right next to the pool. We drove to oak island every day. Took about 17 minutes but 10 of it was the neighborhood so it’s not very far. Will definitely return!

This is our second time staying in this condo and we absolutely love it! It's clean and comes complete with everything we need for our week there. The porch is amazing to eat your meals on or just to go out and sit with a cup of coffee, as you are overlooking a fairway and can easily watch golfers play from the tee to the hole. The owner Barbara is wonderful to work with and responds to all communication promptly and thoroughly. When we want to come to the Oak Island area, this is a favorite for my entire household! We just had an amazing time there and look forward to booking this condo again in the near future! Thank you so much Barbara for being a wonderful host!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Convenient to downtown SouthPort. Close to Oak Island Beach. Took suggestion of
Owner Barbara and went to Swain’s for our anniversary dinner. Delicious meal. Rented jet skis at Holden Beach to celebrate son’s graduation with Master’s Degree. Plenty to do as well as rest on the porch and watch the golfers. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay overall and everything was clean and well maintained. The only complaint is one of the air units (in the secondary bedroom) was loud and we had to rearrange our kids to the primary bedroom to allow them to sleep better but there is plenty of room for a family of 4. The property is on the 2nd floor and you do have views of the golf course. We were splitting our time between Southport and Oak Island and this location worked well for that. The St James plantation was beautiful and felt very safe.. Overall, we would stay here again.

We were very happy with this 2 bedroom condo. The pictures do not show how light and bright it actually is. The host was very good about responding to our questions and emails. We would absolutely recommend!
