The domes were spaced a nice distance apart so it felt like you had privacy.

One of our favorite stays in all of Iceland! The domes were cozy, warm, and absolutely stunning, with plenty of space, blankets, and a remarkable view. They even had Wi-Fi in each dome, which was a nice bonus. The property itself is adorable, with dogs and horses running around. There’s a barn that houses the bathrooms, showers, and kitchen, but it also doubles as a restaurant and bar. We were able to make our own food using the kettle, sink, refrigerator/freezer, and plates, cups, bowls, and silverware they provided. We could then eat in the main area of the barn where the restaurant operates. The staff were incredibly nice and welcoming. We ended up singing and drinking with them until midnight, which made the stay feel so much more special and memorable. We also got to see the Northern Lights! Overall, it was a spectacular stay and an experience we’ll definitely remember. Highly recommend!

Overall I enjoyed the casual and intimate setting. We had a lot of fun talking with the owner and his wife(?), playing with their dogs, singing English songs, petting horses, etc. I really enjoyed the taste of Icelandic dishes too at the restaurant. The heated bed was a pleasant surprise and overall I loved the comfortable decor of the dome.

More shower/toilet facilities would be nice.

The bed and the windows were incredible! Staff was so friendly at night, but did not see them the next day to explain what had happened.

Our plumbing did not work and overflowed all due to a leaning error with other peoples hair. My boyfriend cleaned the drain and then the plumbing worked again. Also I never read or saw that it was under construction still.
