The apartment was nice overall. Nice views from the two balconies.

No lift. Had to climb several flights of stairs to reach the third floor. Not easy with 3 suitcases. The WiFi did not work, or more precisely the only wall socket in the area that the WiFi could plug into was dead. Kitchen cupboards and oven knobs dirty and greasy. No kettle. Upstairs bedroom is reached by a steep spiral staircase, which is a novelty but some people might find it difficult and a bit scary. The washing machine is terrifying and makes an awful racket, jumps around like it is possessed. The next comments are about Ali terme. The beach is strewn with all sorts of rubbish and debris. Most disturbing are all the pieces of sharp rusty metal on the beach and in the sea, on the seabed. I assume it must have fallen off boats that have been hauled up the beach. Also, broken glass. I would not walk barefoot anywhere on the beach. On the apartment advert it states the nizzi di Sicilia is the nearest beach. I couldn't understand why they had put that but now I do. The promenade is on until you reach the Piazza then it becomes a building site all the way to Nizzi. Shame as it is nice and quiet there but it's let down by all these points.
