The location is close to the American embassy, a few minutes walk from Sardegna metro, this takes you down the hill to the trains, via escalator, moving walkways and walkways, valuable in the extreme heat. A family restaurant is 20 meters from the front door. Borghese park is 5 minutes walk north of the appartment.

Although the property is exceedingly secure, it is on the fifth floor in the event of fire, there is no fire escape, additionally the inner gate does not have a quick release so requires the use of the key. The outer door is a proper inter lock.

Great apartment!

Excellent service, my mistake but we initially went to Harry's bar restuarant, (On time) one of the waiters told us the apartments were a different company and at the the bottom of the road and left. Followed directions with nothing to be found. Put right address in google maps, back up the bank and it was 100yds from where we started. Now 30mins late but guy with keys still amicable and helpful. Apartment near to Spagna Metro and the metro subway is a short cut to the Spanish steps (5 mins walk) (don't get the train). Park above the apartment also well worth a walk around to relax after the bustle of Rome. We didn't bother with Zoological gardens and art gallery etc but boating lake and turtles worth the walk.

Had everything we needed. Nice large and airey apartment, 5th floor but has a lift and very quite, I took a Rome guide book with me and dissapointed I didn't read it until the last day. I'd never heard of the old Appian Way and would have loved to have hired a bike and rode it.
