I attended Suncorp Stadium's Magic Round and, as I had a reserved parking space at the venue, decided that one hours travel to and from the event was not a hardship, considering similar accommodation with walking distance of Suncorp Stadium was triple the price (or more) than staying at Serenity on Sandstone Point. The accommodation exceeded expectations, with four comfortable bedrooms and a main bedroom that was simply magnificent with its own retreat consisting of a double/king area, a sitting area with a kitchenette and a private outside balcony overlooking the water, all topped off with a spa bath for two in the bathroom. Our hosts went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay, In addition to the normal tea/coffee/biscuits and coffee machine in both kitchens, they also supplied a welcoming bottle of wine along with chocolates, crackers and a selection of cheeses. which were all very much appreciated. Next time I have business in Brisbane, I will definitely base myself at Sandstone Serenity and make sure to stay for an extra few days to really enjoy the accommodation and all it offers.

If I really wanted to be picky, it was a pity the next door neighbours were doing some building works which did interrupt the serenity somewhat, but that can hardly be blamed on our hosts and in any case, will not be an issue on ou next visit. Apart from that one-off inconvenience, there was absolutely nothing I didn't like.
