We had a lovely stay at Suite Mela. The apartment is very spacious, beautifully clean and in a fantastic location for exploring Verona. The beds are very large and extremely comfortable. The quality of the bed linen and towels was also excellent, and everything smelled incredibly fresh and clean (I loved the fresh scent of the bed linen and towels!). We also really appreciated the baby cot, which came with a very good mattress and was extremely comfortable for our daughter. The apartment is very well equipped, with all the little essentials that make a stay so much easier: dishwasher tablets, laundry detergent, salt, shower products and other basic amenities were provided. There were even charging cables available for electronic devices, which was such a thoughtful and useful touch. You can really feel that the owner has thought about the little details to make guests feel at home and make their stay as easy and comfortable as possible. Air conditioning is available throughout the apartment, including the bedrooms, which we appreciated during the summer. We were also able to park in the street close to the apartment, which was very convenient when travelling by car. There is no dedicated parking space, and street parking is chargeable between 8am and 8pm, but we appreciated having the possibility to park nearby. Communication with the owner was excellent. She is very kind, responsive and genuinely listens to feedback and does her best to make guests comfortable. When we mentioned a small issue with the shower, she immediately offered to arrange for a plumber to come and have a look, which we really appreciated. Overall, we loved the spacious apartment, fantastic location, very comfortable beds, impeccable cleanliness and the quality of everything provided. Above all, you can really feel the care and attention that has gone into making the apartment feel like a home away from home and ensuring guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay.

There are a few things that could make the experience even smoother, particularly for families travelling with young children. The arrival procedure could be a little more anticipated. We had to send our ID documents shortly before accessing the apartment, while we were arriving with two young children who were hungry after the 2.5 hour car journey. It would have been much easier to complete this administrative step the day before. Similarly, receiving the full access instructions automatically by check-in time (2pm), including the floor and apartment number, would make arrival much smoother. These are small details and quite easy to manage when travelling as adults, but with young children after a car journey, having everything organised in advance makes a real difference. Although air conditioning works very well in the living room, we found it a little less powerful in the other rooms. One thing to be aware of when travelling with young children is the shower. The water pressure is excellent for adults, but quite strong for little ones. When we reduced the water flow to make it gentler for our daughters, the temperature became unstable and alternated between cold, very hot and normal. This made shower time a little challenging with the children. We managed during our short two-night stay, and when we mentioned it, the owner was extremely responsive and kindly offered to arrange for a plumber to come and have a look, which we really appreciated. The soundproofing between apartments is also quite limited, and we could hear footsteps and movement from the apartment above. We happened to stay during rainy weather, so we spent much more time inside the apartment than we normally would when visiting Verona, which probably made us more aware of the noise. This may therefore be less noticeable if you are out exploring most of the day. These points did not take away from the many positives of the apartment, and communication with the owner was always excellent.

Appartamento bellissimo e curatissimo. Situazione geografica ideale. Padrone di casa molto disponibile. Raccomando.

Bellissimo appartamento, situato in una zona tranquilla di Verona. Caldo, spazioso, arredato con gusto, con cucina attrezzata. Attraversando la strada, a pochissimi passi, si trova un bar molto carino, dove abbiamo consumato un'ottima colazione.Il centro è facilmente raggiungibile a piedi, in 15 minuti circa, percorrendo un viale ricco di bar, negozi e pizzerie. Mio marito e io abbiamo trascorso un piacevole fine settimana nella romantica città di Romeo e Giulietta, dove sicuramente ritorneremo. Consigliamo questa struttura per famiglie che intendono scoprire la bellezza della "città degli innamorati".
