Seascape Resort Sanur by Ini Vie Hospitality

The hotel is exceptionally beautiful, very aesthetic and nicely designed. I treated myself by staying solo in a villa with pool, and I really enjoyed the private swim and watching birds and lizards in the beautiful garden outside. The restaurant is also high quality with delicious Japanese food and drinks, and they make great coffee. The service is very attentive, and the communication by WhatsApp is really good and responsive. I also want to shout out to the shuttle drivers specifically who were super friendly and great conversation (especially on my second day). It's a very handy service. Lia at reception was also lovely and kind. Housekeeping is impeccable and the room was spotless! Great hot water and pressure in the shower.

I think they are still working out the balance between good service and being overbearing. I think the managers are asking staff to do this, so its not their fault, but at my final breakfast they tried to make me leave this review while I was still enjoying a drink at the table, despite me telling them that I can't review on Booking.com until check out time. When I told them that, they asked to see the app to check! They also were quite insistent about the review again at check out, which left me feeling a bit pressured. On the second day I also had lots of staff ringing my doorbell, including the housekeeping manager who gave me a flower and asked to take a photo of me - which I felt was a bit uncomfortable as a solo traveller. For the gals - flagging that they don't provide conditioner and the bathroom lighting is a bit dark for makeup. Also if you are in a ground floor villa, be aware there is also bit of noise from the above units, but nothing too bad if you have good neighbours.

Best hotel of our lives! Wonderful design, and all the staff goes above and beyond and tries to help everyone they encounter. Couldn’t recommend it any higher!
