PETERBOROUGH HOTEL

Shared bathroom had no PowerPoint. Room had no mirror suitable for being able to do hair and makeup for a special event. A decent mirror in room would fix the problem. Otherwise ok.

This is a budget acomodation. Rooms were cheap and cheerful. Acess to a lounge with room to eat was great. Also, a fabulous balcony

Everything was great until the last night. The door lock was dodgy but we got used to checking it. We had a good time until the last night.

The local drunks made us fear for our safety on our final night. We barricaded ourselves in. We called for staff but the local drunks lied and said we were smoking in our room and the staff were far more concerned with that than with the fact that we had barricaded ourselves in and called local police for advice. The door also didn't always shut properly. You had to triple check it. We left several hours early before check out. Those drunks stalked us and watched for our return that night. They harassed us. We were terrified.
