The house is absolutely stunning. We all loved it! We saw coyotes, deer and foxes. It was very relaxing and peaceful. There is so much to do in the area. We definitely didn't have enough time to do everything we wanted. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The two living rooms were a bonus. Our girls and their boyfriends could hang out in the back one and do their thing; and my husband and I could do our thing in the front one. Coffee on the deck in the morning was wonderful. Listening to nature, enjoying the scenery and loving the wildlife that strolled through the yard. Our only issue were the beds. This is purely personal but for those that have back issues like I do, I was only able to sleep comfortably in the twin beds. The bed in the bedroom downstairs was very noisy. Every time you moved you could hear the frame squeaking. The second bedroom upstairs squeaked on the left side, upper corner. Once my daughter figured it out, she just tried to avoid sleeping in that area. Again, I am sure many, many others won't have these issues. The owner was wonderful and easy to deal with and very responsive. We had a minor issue and he took care of it right away. You will absolutely fall in love with this house! We are hoping to come back here next year.

Good communication with home owner. Great location. Seems like less than 20 minutes to most places of interest on the island.

Blueridge Lodge was perfect for our family. The location was great, the property was immaculate and well-equipped, and there was plenty of space for everyone. We look forward to booking again for next year!
