Vico Equense is a charming, buzzing place with good food options and much nicer than Naples itself. A great base for that part of Italy.
Would have loved to have some outside space, but we knew that when we booked it.

The host Ciro, was amazing. He was a fountain of local knowledge and nothing was too much trouble. The apartment was clean and well presented with a good sized fridge and freezer together with an Ariston oven and induction hotplates. a very comfortable apartment with a fantastic host !
A little too far from the main station as we are in our 70s

The apartment is a freshly renovated one, so everything is almost new, looks very good, and is quite comfortable, but what exceeded my expectations is the view from the window! It's beautiful, especially in the evening, and Vesuvius is also visible! So, the apartment has everything you need basically, even a good coffee machine, not with a capsules one (which is common for airbnbs), but an authentic Napoli coffee machine.
Location - it's just perfect, in the very center of Vico. I was selecting among others a lot, considering staying somewhere uphill and so on, but you should know - Vico is a type of city where you should park your car and travel by foot mostly, so this kind of location is ideal and works the best. Everything is available by foot in like 2-3 minutes. Playground for children just behind the building block, restaurants, best gelataria, terraces with terrific view, even supermarket (but probably 5-7 minutes)
Host: Ciro is the best, met us on check-in, showed everything, BUT before this, helped us a lot with booking the parking place upfront, and since we were very tired and actually hungry after arrival, he helped to book us a table in some very special local restaurant, and it was quite a busy time - Saturday evening. Thanks for everything, Ciro, one of the best hosts I've met.
A microwave oven could be useful, especially for children, and there is an ideal place for it in the kitchen ;-) But not an issue in general, this could be covered by the cooker and stove.
