It was the most gorgeous apartment with crazy views of the coliseum It was quiet at night when we needed to shut out the noise of Rome. Plenty of room to have a glass of wine with guests we had visiting . This apartment was over the top from tye decor to the the size to the location.

We had absolutely wonderful stay with the best view in Rome The location is simply unbeatable directly opposite the Colosseum. Everything you possibly need is steps away: restaurants, supermarket, taxi stand, metro station or luggage storage facilities The apartment itself is very spacious and furnished to very high standards It’s beautifully designed and equipped with everything needed for a perfect stay Communication with a host was excellent we were provided with very clear instructions which made our arrival and stay effortless We would definitely stay there again !

Location is exceptional. Apartment has a modern design with big windows and scenic views. My kids enjoyed looking at the old “New Yorker” magazines that they found on bookshelves.

First: it was difficult to coordinate the key pickup because we were running late. In hindsight, we would not have chosen this property if we had known how challenging it would be for us to coordinate the key pickup. We are a family of four with two young children and we were driving from Florence. We encountered several unforeseen issues (heavy traffic driving into Rome + problem with bill at Hertz rental car return) These problems caused us to be late to our scheduled time for key pickup, and , as a result, we had to wait for several hours once arrived at the apartment for one of the property managers to meet us and give us the keys. (Note that the owners/mangers compensated us with 24 euros for the inconvenience. The total bill for two nights was close to 2000 euros.) Second: we are a middle class American family, and this apartment was a big splurge for us. While it was pretty and centrally located, we did not feel that it was worth the nearly 2000 euros we spent for two nights. If we had the chance to plan our short time in Rome again, we certainly would have chosen a different rental property or hotel.
