Boutique Hotel Porto Palace

Everything here was fantastic - from the very warm welcome to the time we sadly had to check-out it was truly perfect. Our room, really blew us away and was much bigger than we thought it would be - beautiful standards and attention to detail - the whole hotel smelt beautiful and a the pool on the roof was a little gem, where you could order drinks, snacks and on one hot day a beautiful tray of water melon. Restaurant is fantastic (scrambled eggs with goats cheese at breakfast was amazing - who knew?!) but the dinner in the evening was the best meals we ate in Tivat without doubt...and then following night we set them a challenge, didn't want the main menu, but wanted to try some local wines and asked if they could do a tasting menu for us...OF course sir, no problem, we would be delighted...that evening we were blown away with the off-menu dishes and amazing wines and the chef himself came out to explain every course. Truly fantastic service.

Honestly nothing - this was the perfect hotel for our stay, with personal and professional service from lovely people if I could give them 11 I would !! My only negative comment is the casino/fruit machines area down in the basement. I never saw anyone in there and TBH it almost put us off booking at first but once there it is in no way intrusive

Arranged everything we wished for! Very large rooms that even included a washer/dryer.

Beach bar and sunchairs was great and really good news this season. But staff at the beach did not excel to say the least.

Everything was absolutely perfect

The hotel staff are wonderful and cannot do enough for you whether in Reception or the restaurant. The suite has all the amenities you need including all Miele appliances in the kitchen area (plus a coffee maker) to a wonderful walk in shower in the large bathroom and there is plenty of storage space for clothes etc

The hotel is 5* but the location isnt. Having a building site next door and a noisy beach bar playing loud music every day (although this is outside of the hotels control) certainly detracts from the overall enjoyment particular for those rooms with balcony’s directly facing the promenade. This lovely hotel is worthy of its 5* classification and certainly the distractions are outside of the hotels control but had we been aware of the immediate environment we would have given this extra consideration before booking.
