The apartment was as expected, very similar to the pictures. The kitchen was fully equipped, we had everything we needed. The balcony isn't towards the street, which makes it a bit quieter, and the view of Etna (on a clear day) is really nice. The owners of the apartment are really friendly (though they told us they don't usually deal with the guests themselves, it should be a rep from Wonderful Italy). Location wise was also good for us, around 15 minutes walk to the beach, and 10 minutes walk to the southern edge of the city centre. The area looks a bit shady, but we felt safe, and there is a cafe, as well as a bakery on the street for daily fresh bread/pastries and coffee.

The check-in experience did not start the best. I let the company know that we were going to arrive early, and while I completely understood that early check-in was not possible, the "welcome agent" was half an hour late (even after I confirmed 2 times the check-in time). Because of this the owners actually came to let us into the apartment, and while we were chatting with them, the Wonderful Italy rep turned up. The beds were really creaky, which was probably our biggest minus. We were both aware and awake for every turn, so our sleep wasn't the best while we were there. The apartment is meant to be on the second floor, but in real terms it's more like 4 flights of stairs (no elevator). It wasn't a big deal for us, but I wanted to mention it for whoever reads this review to know what to expect. Lastly, the water in the bathroom while showering was all over the bathroom floor (there was a mop and bucket on the balcony so it wasn't a big deal, but the shower could have been designed better). All in all, even with some minor inconveniences, we had a good time! :)

Everything was great. The host is always in touch. The people around are friendly.

The check in instructions were clear, we liked the position, pretty close the the city centre, 15 min walk. The surroundings are not that good looking but as 3 girls we felt safe and we did not have any problems walking around at midnight. I would definitely come back 😊

- bardzo ładny widok z okna na Etnę, - apartament był wyposażony we wszystkie najpotrzebniejsze rzeczy jak: suszarkę do włosów, pralkę, żelazko, kuchenkę, czajnik, lodówkę, sztućce itp. - czysto i schludnie

- skrzypiące łóżka, - niedziałające wi-fi, - daleko od centrum, w dość przemysłowej okolicy, - nieprzyjemny zapach z kanalizacji, - zamiast przekazywania kluczy przez osobę raczej zastosowałabym metodę skrytki i kodów, żeby dostać się do lokalu.
