Very convenient to the attractions we wanted to visit.

What a nice cozy place to stay. The only problem we had was little inconveniences. No extra toilet tissue in the bathroom, not enough towels, grill didn’t work well. Lack of spices. Other than those little things it was nice. I would just bring my own toilet tissue and towels next time

The driveway up to the property and the view from out the front door were amazing. I loved that we had cows as neighbors across the street. We had little trouble getting inside, but never figured out how to change the door code. Directions were ok, but not super great and we just kept the original code. Walking in, immediately noticed a pretty interesting smell. It was almost fishy. Not sure what could have caused that. Other things we noticed without searching for particular issues: broken knobs on the stove, exposed wires at the bottom of the staircase, screen on the front of the cabin was completely off and laying on the porch, back deck with table was pretty dirty (lots of bird poop), and some of the rooms were quite cold, especially at night.Unfortunately, we couldn’t spend more than a few mins outside at the property due to literal swarms of bugs. There was some mention of possible bugs in the initial email but WOW. Was not expecting that ! Not to mention so many box elder bugs inside. We sprayed with the bug spray provided but still we’re finding them everywhere inside. Thankfully, it was a short trip. We came and did all the things we planned on doing. For the cost, it was OK. But definitely need someone to check more thoroughly for cleanliness and broken things between guests. (I have photos of everything mentioned, but I don’t see a way to include those at this moment)
