Lovely spacious rooms. Comfortable bed and bedding. Lovely deco. Kitchen was well stocked.

We booked because it had a garden for our dog to run about. But was unable to let him of his lead as the walls were so low and he would have had no problem jumping over them. Not good with a road right outside. Could have done with some seating outside. Also lacking was a mirror in bedroom or living room. Bit awkward when drying your hair. Also not much storage space in bedroom. Had to go and buy toilet rolls as there was only one roll in bathroom.

Everything was just perfect! I tend to take others' ratings with a pinch of salt, and in this instance, rightly so. The location is idyllic. Views across the Menai Strait from your window. The cottage is easy to find and access. Ample parking. Though on a 'main road', the location is quiet, and traffic did not cause us any disturbance. We found the cottage to be spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. ( even though the checked sofas reminded me of my primary school uniform!) Everything was available for us to cook at the cottage. There is a dishwasher, iron, ironing board and vacuum available, inspite of previous reviews. Inside the cottage, the rooms felt very spacious. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was lovely and soft. Nice large front/ side garden, which our dog enjoyed. There are plenty of lovely walks around the area. Plas Newydd, Newborough beach and forest and Llanfair are all a short distance away to name just a few. I would definitely like to return to the property

Not a dislike as such. Just to make visitors with dogs aware. The garden is enclosed with 2 gates and a stone wall. However. If you have a large dog, or an escape artist... check the garden is secure enough for your needs before allowing it out. The wall is, in some parts, lower than other areas. I found my medium sized dog would've been able to jump it if he wanted to.

The cottage was nice, open, and spacious, in a nice quiet location in the village while very close up the pub. A nice kitchen with a large fridge freezer, gas hob and electric oven, and dishwasher. The shower in the bathroom has strong pressure. Nice garden with a bench to watch the sunrise with a cup of tea

We were disappointed by the poorly stocked kitchen, we had brought food to cook while we were there and disappointed to find we still had to pop to the local shop to buy necessities like salt and pepper, tea & coffee, condiments etc. We found the cutlery quite flimsy, and the glasses provided too small. The bed was also a little uncomfortable with poor pillows.

Lovely little cottage in a location that’s accessible to the island, very comfy and homely
