The host was amazing and made the stay special (my wife and I love staying with the Greeks and Vangelis is the best). On the first day we foolishly thought we would walk or get taxis as we were only there for two days but Vangelis was right to suggest a car. He rang up a local hire company who delivered the car about 30 mins later. Meanwhile Vangelis gave us a personal introduction on what to see and do with our two days. The room is amazing and has loads of atmosphere, and we did get to use the hot tub on one of the nights. The breakfast were lovely too, a picnic basket containing hot meats and eggs, cake, coffee, sandwiches and orange juice delivered to your door at your choice of time. Our host achieved his aim of making our stay truly enjoyable.

Honestly the only challenge is the narrowness of the roads, which is part of seeing a place with character. The same as driving down in Devon :)

We had a truly wonderful stay in Santorini! From the very beginning, the host were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. They gave us wonderful tips and recommendations, including the best viewpoints to enjoy the Santorini sunset, authentic local restaurants, and unforgettable experiences. Thanks to their recommendations, we were able to discover and enjoy Santorini in a much more authentic and memorable way. We have never received such a warm and thoughtful welcome before. The property itself is beautiful, comfortable, and absolutely amazing, the interior design is charming and the breakfast was simply memorable. Everything was prepared with so much care, including the breakfast being delivered to our door exactly at the time we requested. We had an unexpected transportation problem the night before arriving at the property and were completely exhausted. Our host went above and beyond and made every effort to welcome us earlier than the check-in time stated in the listing. This made a huge difference to us — we were able to rest, recover, and still enjoy our time exploring the city. Their kindness, flexibility, and genuine care truly made our stay special. If you are looking for a place where you will feel genuinely welcomed, cared for, and treated as a special guest, we highly recommend this property.
