Great location, walking distance to the centre and train station, plenty of parking, perfect space for our family of 5. Had everything we needed.

Some more pillows would be lovely

The apartment was lovely and spacious and located within a 10 minute walk into town. A supermarket was located at the side of the apartment building which sold fresh bread and everything you need. The swimming pool was great on a hot day. Overall I would highly recommend for a wonderful stay.

Slightly noisy from the road and railway line however this wouldn’t put me off staying at the property. The loft bedrooms have low head space but ideal for children or teenagers.

It was close to the train station, which was good. A bit far from any shops and city center, though. There was plenty of room for 3 people, which was nice.

Our flight company changed the times that we were flying to earlier. I tried to contact Booking,com by telephone but no one answered. I wrote e-mail, that I would like to cancel one night, because we were leaving earlier than supposed to. This happenede in January and our stay was in April. So there was plenty of time! Booking,com answered, that they can't help. I wrote again and asked, could I have the contact to the owner of the apartment. I never received any answer. So we had to pay for one night to 2 different hotels, as we had to leave 1 day earlier and stay overnight in a hotel near the Malpensa airport. This was a disappointment. It wasn't our fault that we had to leave earlier, it was Finnair's, but no one in Booking.com could not meet us halfway so that we would have been able to cancel the last night. The instructions to the right gate in il Cascinale were incorrect. The adress said only number 5 on the road. But there were gates 5 A and 5 B, which no one told us in advance. No one told us about the key locker, either. So we had to call the owner, who had contacted me 2 days before, to find out, how we get the keys and where do they fit. I found this difficult.

Good location a short walk from the town and near the railway station. Lovely shared pool.

Unfortunately, when we arrived, the apartment had not been cleaned. The owner rectified it very quickly but was not a good start. The upstairs bedrooms have very low ceilings so no adult could stand up in them. The living space is very cramped for six, with limited space to sit round the table and not enough comfy chairs for all. There were some key items missing like a vegetable peeler, kitchen bins, tea towels which would have made self catering a little easier. While the pool was lovely, we discovered a broken drain cover which was fixed during our stay, resulting in the pool being closed for two days. It would have been good to have had some warning of this from the owner.
