Marina Square Suites

Location was nice, right on the marina, clean streets and sidewalks, walkable. The view was pretty once outside of our room or from the hotel restaurant. The mattress was comfortable.

The portable airconditioner at the foot of the bed had the large hose out the window not allowing the window coverings to close all the way so it was bright from the light in the early morning. Fortunately we had to be up early otherwise, it would have been hard to sleep in. For 2 people there was only 1 set of the miniature shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion to share. Unfortunately it had a tub/shower combo, not a walk in shower and did not have a handheld shower wand which we prefer. The little market inside the hotel lobby was not convenient, it closed around 9pm and did not open til 9am or later. The parking garage was difficult if you turned down an aisle and there was no parking, you have to back all the way out, the aisles did not wrap around.

In response to your prompt... what Breakfast? The room was spacious and bed reasonably comfortable. I enjoyed the view that I requested and paid for.

Dirty coffee maker and cooking utensils. Knives in drawer were dirty. Food was firmly stuck, so I could not clean for use. Coffee pot was not rinsed out. I left my room at 7:15AM and diligently confirmed that the door was locked. When I returned at 8:00PM, the door was unlocked. I was frightened to enter the room because someone could be in there. And I was concerned for the safety of my belongings. Someone had serviced the room to provide a clean set of knives. I told the front desk staff that I cleaned the coffee pot the first night. This was replaced the next day with a much lower quality appliance. Coffee bar located in a different building increasing value of a good appliance in the room. There was only one chair in the room, which accommodates 2 people. The only chair had a hard wooden seat. I would have appreciated a comfortable chair to relax in during the evening. There is space in the room to accommodate this.

Location was great

Loud air conditioner. Blinds didn’t block out light. No extra blankets in room. No ice machine or ice trays to make ice. Reception desk person was not very friendly. Didn’t explain the key system well. Expensive and then parking was not included in the price. The morning reception person was more friendly than check in. Long process for check in compared to other places.
