Location was great, very close to the train station. Strolling to the city center was about 25 min. The host Marilena was extremely responsive: even we checked in late, she wanted to make sure we got into the apartment okay with the self check-in instructions. And when we struggled with the water heater, she replied immediately and taught us how to reset. The apartment is big, especially the living room. There are two bedrooms, one room bigger than the other. The smaller room maybe good for kids. We were 4 adults, so the smaller room felt a bit small for us… beds are comfortable.

Maybe it was just us, but we did struggle with hot water in the showers. It cooled down even if we did not touch the faucets.

The host was very kind and responsive, always replying quickly and helpfully. The apartment is in a central location, which made it easy to explore the city on foot.

Overall, the apartment was just decent—nothing more. It needs some renovations, with old furniture, very hard beds (I woke up with back pain every morning), and very small bathrooms. Coming from North America, where bathrooms are typically more spacious, using the facilities here was a bit of a struggle. Also, the lack of parking was a real issue for us as we were travelling by car. We had to hunt for street parking and pay around €2/hour, which added up quickly. In the end, the apartment experience felt more expensive than it should have been.
